Balloon Festival 2008

Last weekend we also went to the Plano Balloon Festival. We went for the glow on Friday night which was really neat! Sam was mesmerized and didn't budge from our blanket. Alex was a little unsure of it all. It was so neat watching the balloons inflate and then experience the glow once it was dark. Spectators were even allowed onto the balloon field at one point to get a close up look. Lots of fun!!

Family Circus Day

We had a busy weekend this weekend!! One of the things we did was attend a Family Circus Day (for employees and their families). It was LOTS of fun for the kids! There were carnival games, crafts, entertainers, exotic animals, and a petting zoo. And don't forget all the fun inflatables! There was a wonderful dinner provided. The kids loved it and didn't want to go home.

First Day of School

Right after Labor Day, Alex had his first day of school. He was so excited, but still a little unsure about having a different teacher than he did last year. He got to meet his teachers and new classmates at a meet and greet the week before classes started. So far he is really enjoying this school year. He gets in the car every school day and tells me about all the things he did! I am glad he likes it so much. It's hard to believe that this is his last year of preschool. Next year will be the Big K!

Picnic Time!

A couple of weeks ago, we had some rain that left us with cool temperatures. One evening, we took advantage of the nice weather and had a picnic dinner at the park. The boys were so excited and helped me pack the picnic basket. They enjoyed eating outside and playing at the park.
